SPANISH for Ages 6-13

 

Our Spanish program brings interaction, enthusiasm, cultural elements, and technology into the classroom to keep children excited and interested. Our goal is to motivate students toward a level of independence where they develop a desire to learn and think for themselves. We use the VAKT method for multisensory learning and retention – Visual (reading or seeing pictures), Auditory (hearing or listening), Kinesthetic (doing or movement), and Tactile (touching).  Many activities are presented that involve a total physical response by the students. Children listen to themselves speak out loud and practice consistently – in and out of class. We teach students to effectively communicate in Spanish and, perhaps more importantly, to gain an appreciation for another language and culture.
